China initiated to develop a timetable for terminating production and sales of gasoline and diesel cars.
U.K. and France have recently announced they would phase out vehicles using gasoline and diesel. China announced they would seek the same phase out of fossil-fuel-powered car on September 9, 2017 in International Forum on Chinese Automotive Industry Development in Tianjin. China promotes New Energy Vehicles policy including supportive measures for electric vehicles to mitigate local air pollutions. Phasing out of gasoline and diesel vehicles in China could stimulate battery market, because China has biggest passenger car market in the world.
